Next ceremony session dates

Our winter graduation ceremonies (postgraduate taught and postgraduate research degrees) will take place on 11 and 12 December 2024.

Our summer graduation ceremonies (undergraduate including integrated Mater's degrees and PhDs) will take place between 14 and 18 July 2025.

December graduation checklist 

Registration for our December graduation ceremonies has not yet opened. When you do register to attend, you can prepare for your ceremony by completing the steps in our graduation checklist.

Applicable to all:

  •  ensuring you've chosen the correct hood for your degree type.
  • Share any access / special requirements with the Graduation Team.
  • Ensure you have cleared any outstanding debt with the university or we cannot permit you to graduate (includes tuition fees, college fees and accommodation fees).

Please note there is a maximum of two guaranteed guest tickets per student for the Great Hall. You are able to request a third ticket and these will be allocated should space be available. You will be notified in December if you have been successful in acquiring a third ticket.
